Weekend Recap: Painting the Dining Room!

How is it Monday already?? This weekend went by waaayyyy too fast, if you ask me! Maybe it's because we've spent literally the last two weekends painting our dining room, which hasn't turned out to be an easy task. Between taping off all of the crown molding, base boards, chair rails and inserts, two coats of paint for the walls, painting the ceiling and painting the said molding, chair rails and inserts - we had our work cut out for us! Let's just say that the previous owners didn't care take the time to make sure their paint job was done the right way. All the beige we were trying to cover up was splattered all over the crown molding! We do see the light at the end of this painting tunnel! We only have the top crown molding left and we are done painting the dining room! We will have that done this week. We love the blue that we picked... such a huge difference!

Here's a few pieces that we're envisioning for our dining room. We want to incorporate yellows, corals, grays and white into the room - we think it will play off of the navy color that we picked for the walls!
