When Sunday rolls around, especially during football season, we are always making some sort of appetizer to snack on during the games (so bummed that the Cowboys didn't make the playoffs!). My aunt brought this spread to Christmas and it was ah-mazing!! A new staple appetizer for our house!
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of 8 ounce cream cheese
- 1 package of smoked salmon
-1/2 cup of purple onion, finely chopped
-1 large jalapeno, finely chopped
Step 1: Set out 2 packages of 8oz cream cheese for about 30 minutes to soften. |
Step 2: Chop purple onion, jalapeno and salmon. |
Step 3: Mix all ingredients together. Easy breezy! |
Serve on crackers, like above, or put it on a bagel for breakfast! |
I like to wrap the spread in saran wrap, making a cheese ball. It keeps longer and allows the flavors to combine. |
What are your favorite game day appetizers?
